NOMOBAC
Antimicrobial Surface Coating
NOMOBAC is a surface functional coating that is unique in its composition and effectiveness.
It can be applied to surfaces in a simple wipe or spraying process. The coated surfaces are covered for up to 12 months with a long-lasting protective shield providing long-lasting antibacterial protection and kills 99.99% of germs.
NOMOBAC has been successfully tested by an independent German laboratory and in accordance with ISO 22196 standards. It is proven to be effective against the dangerous strains of germs as classified by WHO.
NOMOBAC is water-based, odourless and colourless, scratch-resistant (approx. 4.5 – 5H), biocompatible with human skin according to ISO 10993 and does not leach when cured. There are no risks for humans and animals. NOMOBAC can be applied to almost all non-silicone based materials such as metals, wood, hard plastic, glass & stone. It is chemically resistant to non-abrasive cleaning agents and allows the use of common wiping and disinfection methods.

Physical mode of action:
The product fills, seals and smoothes the pores and cavities of the treated surface without compromising its properties. Many surface pores and cavities are breeding grounds for pathogens; here the pathogens receive their food supply and can multiply uninhibited. NOMOBAC first deprives the pathogens of their expansion possibilities by minimizing the food options.
Biochemical mode of action:
In addition, NOMOBAC contains an antimicrobial, non-leaching, biocidal combination of active ingredients that is immediately activated in the event of contamination. Thus NOMOBAC deactivates viruses, gram positive and negative bacteria and spores. Due to the active and passive effect of NOMOBAC, a deactivation of bacteria, viruses and spores is achieved in the long term and a further spread of pathogens is prevented.
